Good morning Lemmings and great news for people who like bad news, I’m out of gumption again. Remember that stomach bug I had a few weeks back? Yeah, well it never really went away, returned with a vengeance yesterday evening and sent me scurrying off to bed, well before QT time, all of which accounts for this week’s lack of gumption. However in further good news (for people who like bad news), next week is also a no-go as I will be on tour with popular beat combo, Achtung Everybody. Should you happen to live in a major industrial city in the North and wish to see 5 grown men behaving as if the last 15 years never happened, please feel free to join us at any of the follows:
14/4/11: The Kings Manor, Newcastle.
15/4/11: Santiago’s, Leeds.
16/4/11: Someplacewhothehellknowswhere, Manchester.
18/4/11: The Riverside Cafe, Sheffield.
(Here’s the poster for the Leeds show… It’s absolutely epic).
All of the above dates will be headlined by Unfun and Pudge are also supporting (plus a bunch of other bands… Don’t ask me, I just work here).
So there you go… No QT Reports for you. Just think of it as me declaring my own, personal Easter in revenge for Question Time being on during a Parliamentary recess. It’s not on Dimbers, curmudgeons need down-time as well (and expenses wouldn’t go a miss either)…
A couple o’weeks Lemmings, a couple o’weeks…
Never mind about Easter and recesses! Thing is, you just have to be flexible!
Flexible is the new Coalition!
Hey , I’m all about the flexible, such as reschedulling major religious festivals to suit my own Lack of Gumption needs… Maybe I should run as a Coalition candidate….
Sheffield is the 16th
Manchester is the 18th @ Saki bar.
All of which I told you on Wednesday night! ;)
What he just said…
You didn’t miss much. The only thing I learned from last Friday’s programme is that with Alternative Voting, if you want a Mars Bar you get a Twix.
